In September 2017 I was invited to speak at the 23rd edition of the Verines writers’ conference, on the role of literary translators as creators in the shadows (XXXIII Encuentro de Escritores y Críticos de las Letras Españolas en Verines: Creadores en la sombra: La traducción literaria en la actualidad), organised by the Spanish Ministry for Education, Culture and Sport.
